Except, of course, your claim is as always factually wrong.

There was a special exemption for 2020. Other than that they DO recapture that credit if your income is too high.

Are you ever not wrong my dude?

IRS doesn't actually care if you overreport your income. This should be common sense

GM actually made the first EV car ever

I guess the answer to my earlier question of are you ever not wrong is no LMAO

https://www.caranddriver.com/feat...tric-cars/

GM was founded in 1908. Tons of folks made electric cars before then.

President McKinley, when shot in 1901, was taken to the hospital in an electric ambulance.

They actually were hugely popular in the car market for a brief period in the very late 1800s/early 1900s-- NYC had over 600 electric taxis in the period, then the Model T came along and crushed everything though and it'd be generations before they were a thing again.

Ford actually talked with Edison about doing an electric car BEFORE he did the Model T....the deciding factor at the time was too much of America didn't have electricity at their homes yet.

General Motors EV1 was the first electric car. It had a range of 160 miles. I didn't have to google that. I actually knew it.

Bolt might be a great car, but dealer ruin it, especially in SOCAL. Dealer always order with useless packages to make price high, and even the worst part is adding mark up( $3000~5000) which end up with around $2000 different with Tesla. This is the reason I bought Tesla. No hassle just few click it. What a innovation way to buy a car. It is worth more than $2000 diff. No need to deal with stupid dealers.
I understand now why so many Teslas here in CA Smilie

And just as with everything else you "know" it's factually, hilariously, wrong Smilie

Maybe you might give google a try next time!

I mean, this HAS to be some kinda performance art right-- nobody is this wrong about everything 100% of the time in real life....

The IRS must have a field day with your tax return. You probably claim to be a sovereign citizen to avoid paying any income taxes.

CarMax is worse. They overcharge you for not having to deal with dealers.

Why would anyone consider one of these over a Tesla? Based on my experience, and for MANY reasons, I would much rather pay a little more for a Tesla model 3.

Just plugged in those numbers. It would take you 71.3 hours to charge at 120v/8A
71.3 hours to charge from what to what?

You tried to claim that homeowners can't charge at home because of breaker panels LMAO
Any house can charge with no modifications if they have no other option.
Most people don't use the entire range of the car, and if they do, a new 240v 16A circuit is inexpensive. Houses with electric dryers can use that same plug with a smart switch. That provides 4x the charge rate (you seem capable of simple math).

1. This is NOT TRUE. Many people commute over 50-100 miles each way for work. And if you don't right now, you may have to later. Also, in my area, the major hospital is 90 miles away and sometimes, people have to drive back and forth to visit relatives there. Why buy a car that's inferior to your old one? It literally makes no sense and makes me question if you're a real person and not a company marketing guy.
2. They could make EVs that had a range over 200 miles. The Roadster was over 200 miles. The Leaf and others were experimental and did not add as many batteries. Honest battery engineers admit it's very difficult to improve the tech. It's not like a freaking Iphone or game system.
3. The Concorde was released in the late sixties. One might have imagined we'd at least be flying as fast as that plane by now as the standard, but we're still flying the same, slow commercial airliner types. It's a fallacy that all tech improves given time. If that were true, we'd have laser rifles by now, LOL.
1. 50-100 miles each day...is still within the range of new EVs... For that type of commuter where they have to gas up almost every day, then an EV is more convenient because it can charge right at home. EVs are more convenient when it's routine stuff like commuting to work. Your average American does not even drive 50 miles round trip to work let alone 100 miles each way. Rural America definitely still exist but that doesn't mean your examples are that common nor can added infrastructure not help resolve the issue. Hospitals can add EV charging stations as well.
2. It also has to do with cost, weight, build. Newer EVs have higher capacity batteries at roughly the same size/weight. That Roadster was a sports car that weighed quite a bit less than the Leaf of that same year.
3. We're still flying the same, slow, commercial airlines but planes have gotten more fuel efficient with each generation. Air travel has also gotten far cheaper now than decades ago. The biggest downside to the Concorde was cost. EVs are improving in both efficiency and cost.

A licensed electrician will wire it correctly and it will be permitted and inspected. If someone tries to use a 50A appliance, it will pop the breaker. No damage done, no fire hazard. It's common. The EVSE specifies the breaker to be used, and it's okay to undersize the breaker for the outlet as long as the wiring is rated for the breaker size also.
ASSUMING your service has 50A to spare? 🤡 Most homes do NOT have an additional 50A capacity.

Anyone know which Line number to look in 1040 to know if we qualify for full $7500 or not.

Some says, Line 24, some says Line 37.

What if line 37 is empty because most/all of the tax was paid upfront as part of paycheck (total paid taxes in advance, Line 33)
