i wonder if the recent one is because new games are now 69.99 , so they were like ":hell no, were not shipping them for free, make the customer buy something else " lol

I was just at a gamestop yesterday and they had bogo on clearance stuff. Not sure if its everywhere or not. I dont need more stuff so I passed even tho I found a combo for a good deal.

I hate how their website does not properly match the items, even if you are getting 2 of each it will give you the cheapest things possible free.

Just wait till you add all the items you wanted, and boom, all the savings (free) apply to lowest priced items. Then shipping requirement has gone up, and can't use Pro $5. That's why it's you want game, stop, don't come.
