Yes, the gpu can render as many frames as the cpu (and itself) can handle

Esports games can easily get into these numbers, with some going into the thousands

I get 400-600fps on Valorant (5800x3d + rtx3080) so definitely picking this up. I don't think there's anything that comes close to this price in the 360hz market.

Someone explain to me what sub-market computer enthusiast this is aimed at? For this kind of money, the trade off to game at 1080p on a 24 inch screen loses too much compared to a 1440p 27 inch capable of 144 or 166 Hz. A GPU capable of such refresh rates should be capable of running 1440 at a higher rate.

Competitive FPS. You dont need anything close to 360hz for any other genre. Id argue 99.9% of people here wont be able to tell the difference anything above 240hz. Its only less than 1.5 milliseconds faster from that to 360hz.

So if you're not playing CS GO, Valorant, OW, etc competitively, there are much better monitors out there for the same price.

Not entirely true. PC fighting game players have been moving to high hz monitors despite fighting games being locked to 60fps. The idea is to get as close as possible to the latency in arcades on CRT. The higher the hz the closer you will get to that.

You can absolutely tell. This particular monitor isn't that great (though its a good price), but it's not just about latency, its also about motion clarity, and you can absolutely see that.
