Agreed.
I felt the PS5 was too hyped up for the supply and demand debacle, so I stuck with my PS4.
(Besides we still have a large backlog library that hasn't even played yet)
And after a recent Google search, you can find controllers anywhere from $9 to $29.00
So agreed not a great deal even though it's coming directly from PlayStation.

For what it's worth I've had a deal alert for a DS4 on for quite some time and this is the first time in a long while I've been alerted. I wish it was more around $30 but if you really need one of these they aren't on sale often or ever.

I don't have a PS4. I use it with my PC. I plug it directly to the PC but doesn't work.

We can say it's a bad deal but the reality is what other choices does ANYONE have for wireless PS4 controllers for less than this that are legit any good at all? If anyone knows of any quality PS4 controllers for less PLEASEEEE let me know. I admit I feel like the fact it's still 40 bucks for refurbished is crazy.

That's a terrible price for a last gen refurbished controller. Big thumbs down from me. I'd rather just buy another brand new PS5 controller.

For everyone saying this is a bad deal, please post a better deal. I have not seen these on sale EVER. The new one's are still going for about $60. I have not seen sony brand for "$9 - $29". I would love for the naysayers to show me up so I can buy one of these at a decent price...

yeah, most in this thread are talking without looking what new PS4 controllers STILL go for today. While I agree I dont think they should still cost this much personally but the reality is, they do.

Recently received a secondhand PS4, and am looking for a second controller. I agree with the other posters - I haven't seen any deals on them.

Also, the refurbished controller in the OP is back up to $50.
