My long term review:
The USB with stand charging is a little bit of inconvenience (I have no USB port in bathroom) as compared with standard charging that includes outlet stand-charger, but not a big problem. The battery is smaller, last shorter time and provides less power as compared with my old Sonic. Recently, the on/off switch went bust, the plastic covering deteriorated, biodegraded exposing the switch internals. The brush can be switched on only by trying few times to press the right part of the switch with a finger nail. I went back to my old sonic toothbrush that is slightly more bulky but also more powerful and despite being 3-4 yo still works very well.
IMHO, Sonicare 4100 is a bad. low quality product, and should be avoided.
Edited.
