Nope, it has Palm oil. For those not in the know:

Health: Palm oil is made of about 50% saturated fat. Consuming high levels of saturated fat increases your risk of heart disease because it raises the LDL or "bad" cholesterol and triglyceride levels in your body.

Hypertension: Palm oil increases your risk of getting hypertension in two ways: it increases your cholesterol levels, and once heated, free radicals are released which irritate blood vessels and lead to arterial thickening.

Environment: In some parts of Asia, palm oil is estimated to cause nearly half of all deforestation. Clear-cutting forests for agriculture releases greenhouse gases, leads to the destruction of habits, and threatens biodiversity.

Cancer: According to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), palm oil can cause cancer when processed at high temperatures. More research is needed to confirm these findings and its effect in human trials. EFSA found that certain contaminants in palm oil can increase the risk of cancer. When incorporating palm oil into foods and related products, the oil is heated. However, processing palm oil causes glycidyl fatty acid esters (GEs) to form. When digested, GEs break down and release glycidol, a substance known for its carcinogenic effects in animals and its suspected harm to humans.

The BOGO only applies to the 12 pack. The 8 packs are not BOGO.

You're absolutely right! I confuzzled myself with the 12-packs and the 8-packs. There is a promo available right now for 20% Off: SENIOR20 however it only works on the 8-packs, not the 12-packs. I thought I was on the promotion page and the BOGO was on all packs. Thank you for catching thatSmilie!

Before posting, I searched for "Walgreens" then sorted by Newest but this thread did not show up, causing a repost... I just checked again and it still doesn't show up when you search for Walgreens. Curious as to why.

Edit: It looks like it is listed as "Walgreen's" in the deal title and the description. There should not be an apostrophe though.

This is a pain :| sold out at half the stores in Seattle and the other half when you up the quantity to get the bogo it then re-adjusts it back down because they don't have that quantity available. Good deal but skipping it because it's a hassle here.

Then why is this stuff legal?

Maybe its me but food like this has gone downhill over the past few years. And it seems the filling portion is reduced with a large amount of crust? Its not just Pop Tarts. Hostess, Entenmans, Little Debbie all taste terrible now so it must be just me so I guess I am thankful I have no desire to purchase these types of food nowadays.
