These are already weaker devices, the prices of any tablet they have is about on par with off brand tablets that perform just as reliably at this point (a 2016 Fire 7 isn't going to do much). Not to mention the Amazon specific infrastructure than can be changed, but that's a lot of hoops just to get a tablet that was mediocre at launch and well below that 6 or more years after their release dates.

Ppw 2018, kindle 2019, Oasis 2019 are gen 10. Oasis 2019 32GB is $190 in the sale. So the $50 ppw 32GB is very attractive, but the screen size is small.
