I have the non esport edition that I use for outdoor running as well. Is your elevation out of whack? I can't seem to find a fix for it and it's bothering me/

Does it accurately hold your heartrate, compared to other HR watches?

I have a Garmin Fenix 6x Pro Solar which I believe is the same series/line as this one. Enable dual band location and do a manual calibration. Friend's bike computer used to read 1000ft elevation more than mine and this solved it. I keep my dual band in use but you may want to disable it since it does drain a lot more battery during activities.

Ah! I been using GPS only and will try GPS + Galileo. I wonder how much this will impact battery life.

I tried my non-esports version on my 10 yr old. While the watch face was large on their wrist, it didn't look bad. The build-in strap fit. They were a little disappointed they weren't getting my watch. Big Grin

I got this from last deal, but I need to say heart rate monitor is off sometimes when I played tennis. Seems accurate when I walk or jog but way off when I played tennis, didn't have this problem while using Garmin forerunner 245
