Anyone that plans to spend more time than that at a public charger, or doesn't have a level two charger, should not own an EV if they value their time.

I pre ordered mid 21, i got email in early 22 that my car coming to the dealer assigned in few months. I went to the dealer within 30 minutes after the email arrived.
The dealer told me: so sorry, we sold your car to someone else. I asked why? He said its because of that person paid 10K mark up and few more K Add ons.
I was furious, called Hyundai Corp, nothing they can do. My impression is the corporation support this practice that dealer screwed customer.
Mine was Limited, available after they deliver the other models. People already pissed off at that time. VW and Ford took action and no mark up.
A lot of people complained about after sales too, dealer have no idea how to fix it.
Btw, I was assigned to different dealer, because of the dealer of my choice wasn't allowed to sell EV, no infrastructure to fix things at that time.
Sooo... in short, stay away from Hyundai dealer, they are bunch of bad people.
I am in San Diego and had been calling all dealer in area... same story... i end up getting VW ID4 and happy since then.
Tech Connections is a fantastic youtube channel and posted an in-depth 1-yr review of the Ioniq 5. He specifically discusses the 12v issue at 10:10, but the rest of the video is quite informative (and honest!) as well.
