Good luck finding a Hyundai dealership that isn't marking up 7.5k to negate the credit. Tried to buy one last year and they marked up anywhere from 2k minimum to 8k with add-ons.

Hyundai actually found the issue, it was an app that sent a bunch of information/stayed connected when the car is off. Teslas have a worse issue which is phantom drain, since the car stays connected for connectivity/app usage it drains the main drive battery. Ends up making the car horribly inefficient. People come back to their cars with way less drivable range.

You cannot buyout Tesla leases, not that you would want to after you experience the shoddy workmanship of those things.

I think the cost per mile is high, no? I'm calculating about 32 cents a mile on the lowest model

$17k will buy you a nice used Hybrid Prius ….. and you won't have to rewire the house to charge it.
Rewiring the whole house? The electrician will add a 240V outlet, not installing solar panels or a battery backup.

EVs are not optimized for road trips. You plug it in when you get home every night, like a phone.
It works if you plan it well. i have Tesla and did road trips, first one is scary but second one planned well. plugging at home is very convenient based on my daily commute of 35 to 55 miles. i just use 110 W

Most people have old homes and some have detached garages, so they will literally need to rewire the whole house.

I don't get it , why is this is a positive feedback ? did anyone successfully got the same deal here ? otherwise it's just some commercial ad which is just an "AD" to see it and you wont get it ! when you contact hyundai , they will say they have no control to any dealership and they can sell any price tag they want as mark up and either you want to take it or leave it , just losing your hope and wasting your time . THIS DEAL ISN"T REALLY OUT THERE in the world today for normal civilians .

And that applies to every new car on the road today about sunshine and roses. See what happens when you take an Audi brand new to the dealer service dept that is known to be the greatest ever and they give you attitude. Or the Volvo dealer that scratches the car when its serviced, or the Lexus dealer, or Mercedes.
100% Agree, but when you talk to a blind follower of Tesla, they never can accept Tesla not being God tier. Mercedes, Audi, Volvo, etc. have their issues, but their owners are nowhere near as insufferable as the Tesla Fanboy crowd.

Not all Tesla owners, just the rabid fanboys.

Paying close to $470 a month on a lease for a hyundai 10k miles per yr with cloth seats, 200 mile range, no blind spot monitoring, no phone key, inferior charging network, no wireless charging, base audio system. I would say not worth it

Never? Ever? Not even when the manufacturer lease subvention is too good to be true?

We leased Chrysler Town & Country Touring minivans thru two 24 month cycles, 12 kmi/yr, and paid $200/month when Chrysler was simply keeping its plant running by leasing at near cost. At a time when the van we wanted, the Odyssey, was in short supply with waiting lists and premium priced.
