I love CT shirts. They're pretty much all I wear as far as button downs. Go for the non-iron, they're truly non-iron and have a great feel to them. Wash and dry normally, just make sure you pull them out of the dryer right away and hang, and you're good to go!

I'm a long time CT customer, probably have 12 or so shirts. Their slim fit is excellent for a somewhat muscular build - just enough room, flattering but not revealing. I recently ordered a 2x 3 for $99 on an offer that my wife got via social media. I was less impressed by the quality of these shirts on this go-around, and I returned 3 of the 6 shirts that I ordered. I only purchase sport shirts that can be tucked or untucked, and used for business casual.

I used to find Brooks Brothers and these shirts comparable in quality, and preferred CT for the typically lower prices, but I ended up buying 3 BB shirts for ~$180 and found the more expensive shirts to be the same or a better value. Their twill material is far superior, at least from my purchase. Maybe it's just the shirts I bought, YMMV.

The CT non-iron, poplin shirts seem to be the most resilient to wrinkles and the longest lasting. The twill textured shirts get funny in the dryer even on ultra low, and get some very heavy, semi-permanent creases in them easily, in addition to being a bit warm. Just my 2c, still a great deal, and while returns take awhile, they're easy.

Quality was a lot better years ago.
I agree, some of my shirts (much older ones, probably first ones I bought) are still looking great vs the later ones that already look old, it also depends on the weave and fabric. Lately the deals 3 for $99 have very limited selection also.

Brooks brothers currently has 40% off 3 or more and another 10% if u use Apple pay. For 3 shirts, priced at $88, comes out to $142. Some may find it better due to quality. I am definitely paying the $42 more for the quality

Is this not a standard everyday deal? If you search TM Lewin shirts on google, you will find an ad link for $99 for 3 CT shirts. What's the difference here? More options/selections?

It's a bit rare these days to have 3 for $99.

Sorry but Brooks Brothers quality is a hit or miss. Most of the time, they're hot garbage and they're just riding on w/e fame that used to have.

I placed an order for 3 CT shirts and received them earlier this week, it took about 7-8 calendar days to receive them (with premium shipping, I live on the west coast).
The size does not fit me so I will return them. I wear "regent (regular)" fit for brooks brothers (BB). BB has gone up in price (with promotion, BB is usually $60 per shirt).
I wear 15 33 for BB regular fit. I looked up the sizing table and picked 15 33 for CT slim fit.
It turns out CT slim fit is about one inch narrower than BB regular fit.
I think CT regular fit will run too large. Anyone had experience with CT regular vs BB regular?
I may just return CT and go back to BB. Not sure if BB would have better deals during back friday?

The material and the craftsmanship is very good with these t-shirts. They are really high quality. But If you have an athletic body type, you're not going to like these. If you are one of those people with pear-shaped body, you might like them. I bought different sizes and fits just to try. If the chest part fits okay, then the belly part is baggy. If the belly part fits okay, then the chest part is really tight, you cannot move much.
I measure 47" at shoulders, 40 chest, and a 31 waist.

These shirts aren't made for my body shape? I was looking to purchase the extra slim.
I really hate baggy shirts

My 7 year old CT shirts look better than my 2 year old shirts (the ones I still have - most of them I chuck when the elbow area tears and renders shirt garbage). Material was much more robust then. (If the elbows don't go prematurely, then within 18 months or a few dozen washes, the collar area, sleeve cuffs, and button areas start fraying and losing threads to the degree that they look pretty poor, and the material just becomes so thin and discolorations so apparent that they become back of the closet emergency apparel. If the shirts get to that point, I consider it wear and tear and to have made it through their useful lifespan. The elbow tears are premature death, and can happen in shirts that are otherwise in very decent condition. They just start out so thin these days.)

Same is true with my old JAB Traveler shirts - they are much better quality than newer ones. I think this is common with many clothing manufacturers.

Overall, I still mainly buy CT shirts, primarily for the convenience of knowing how they'll fit, and the consistency of their 3/$99 pricing allowing me to purchase as needed instead of having to wait for a sale. $33 shipped for a well fitting and decent looking dress shirt is still a pretty good deal, even if they were a lot better years ago and they have a pretty limited lifespan. If someone knows of a better company with CT like fit, I'd love to know.

These are the best shirts IMO under $50. Any recommendations in the next two brackets ? $50-$100 and $100-$200?
I'm not sure about the $50-100 bracket. Certain BB shirts come to mind. Above $100 I would avoid big brands and recommend you to find a good custom tailor either local, online, or sometimes they do trunk shows in big cities where you can get a nice shirt made to measure for just above $100. These can be hit or miss though with lots of factors like fabric, how tight of a fit you want, how much interaction you want to have with the tailor, etc. So you kind of have to try them out for yourself. I did this for a while and decided I was fine wearing pre-made shirts from certain brands especially stretch shirts to save a lot of money, so everyone's different.
