The Moto Edge+ 2023 was just released for $799.99.

You need to sign up for the monthly plan at $25/month. This plan is on Dish Network's brand new 5G network, plus acts as an MVNO on AT&T and T-Mobile's networks. This is a TRUE unlimited data, with NO throttling.

Here is a link to the FAQ [genesis5g.com].

Note, you need to enter your Zip Code and Email to check service availability in your area before adding phone to cart

Specs:
Processor: Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm)
Display: 6.6" 1080x2400 165Hz OLED
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 512GB
Operating system: Android 13

PC Magazine: "The Moto Edge+ packs snappy performance, above-average cameras, and excellent battery life into an appealing $800 package. The Edge trounces the Pixel 7 Pro in raw power, produces clearer shots than the OnePlus 11 5G, and far outlasts the Galaxy S23 when it comes to battery life and charging speeds."

Is that due to lack of bands or Verizon not allowing it on their network? Does the Boost Mobile version have the same issue? Thanks!

Phone supports a lot of Verizon 4G and 5G bands. Verizon probably requires certification for this device and moto wasn't interested.

Verizon uses a whitelist to decide if your phone is compatible. So if your IMEI is not specifically on the list of phones they have certified for their network, it won't work

"Boost Mobile was the first to carry the incredible new motorola edge+ 2023, and now customers can get the best deal available on the new edge+, starting at just $199.99 when they switch their wireless service. And the savings don't stop there, the motorola edge+ 2022 is also available for new Boost Mobile customers starting at only $49.99"

I only see the 2022 model for $199. Where do you see the 2023 model for that price?

I see this, so xoneinax isn't crazy: https://boostmobile.mediaroom.com...geplus2023

But I can only find it for $399: https://www.boostmobile.com/shop/edge-2023.html

Getting the 2023 Edge+ for $199 would be an excellent deal. Maybe they stopped it and raised the price to $399 without saying anything.

How about with any Verizon MVNO's? Still blocked? Say on USMobile? Just wondering if there's a work around to get the phone on Verizon network, but not directly through Verizon.

I may have missed it, but has anyone actually received the phone and established service? Not sure what feedback you have.

I was about to buy this but saw this on the privacy policy. I'm concerned about it, especially call history, browser history and apps downloaded:

"Information about your device such as the type, version of operating system, signal strength, and whether it is on and how it is functioning.
Information about how you use the device and services available through it, such as your call and data usage and history, your location, web sites you have visited, applications purchased, downloaded or used and other similar information."

Other carriers can track calls, data usage, location, etc sure, but not:

-apps purchased or used

-"how you use the device and services available through it"

-"other similar information"

Th only way to collect that would be through a hidden back door service.

Thoughts?
