Mine lasted about 7 months before one of the cups went silent. Luckily, I got mine from ebay and they gave me my money back (because it was within the 2 year mark), so 90 days is iffy for me

Yup... Well, not necessarily a year as these don't fold completely which potentially saves the hinge for a little longer... but it's considered wear so (usually) isn't covered by Sony's warranty. So it's the same effect has breaking right after the warranty period 🤬. It's the reason for those who want a discount XM I would suggest waiting for the eBay refurbished sales that pop up occasionally as that two yr warranty SHOULD cover physical breakage under normal use (it did on my soundcore 30s and while this is a different manufacturer, the warranty is the same third party.)
