If you have not already activated a Gamepass Ultimate account, buy this deal. Buy as many of these codes as you wish (max is three years so possibly as few as 9 of these subscription codes will max out account). See below:

1. Buy these 3 month GOLD codes and activate just one.
2. When ask to enable reoccurring billing, say YES. You will need a valid credit card on file. This will possibly gift you another month for free. This is not guaranteed.
3. Either way, disable reoccurring billing afterwards.
4. Activate another code, repeat steps 2 and 3. Keep doing this until you max out or reach your desired subscription length
5. Once all that is done to active GOLD, buy one month of Xbox Gamepass Ultimate (usually $15)
6. Activate that code and accept the offer to convert your GOLD subscription account to Gamepass Ultimate.

AGAIN, this process only works if you are not already using an active Gamepass account. If so, you will need to wait till it expires.

I bought 12 of these (had to do two orders since there was a max quantity of 10) with code GoldDeal, redeemed 11 of them (the last would not redeem since it was going to put me over the max), subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate, converted the gold which pushed the renewal date out to 4/7/26. Then I redeemed the last code for partial credit, pushing my renewal out to something like 5/28/26. Close enough.

During redeeming of the codes I don't believe I turned on the automatic renewal for the free month, but maybe I did by accident causing the last code not to redeem before I subscribed to GPU.

I redeemed all my codes the same way--on my PC in Firefox. Not sure why the extra month option came up every time but it did, regardless of whether I turned off recurrent billing after submitting the previous code. I was surprised when I checked my subscription status and noticed that each free month was being applied to my account.
