Polestar and Volvo could step away from traditional gas car design language. For this car you have a pointless for function long hood. You suffer inside because of that misplaced priority with the unnecessary limitation of back seat legroom and less wheelbase. An MG4 is the car to compare for current design of an ev. Good rear legroom. It's got a 2705mm wheelbase vs. 2650mm for this Volvo. 2 inches right there. 4287mm length vs. 4233mm for the EX30. The difference shows in the back door dimension.

If you mean 150 one way and you have a place to plug in there you should be fine unless you're in like the northern Yukon at 30 below or something.
road trip is a several day drive, stopping to refuel at least once per day.
neither scenario is what I would consider fun to do in a bolt.
in a tesla, a 300 mile day trip is a super minor inconvenience due to faster charger and abundance of superchargers in most areas.
Looks like nice car, wouldn't buy gen 1 car with zero reviews.

Volvo hasn't been Swedish since the 90s.... owned by US company Ford first decade of this century, owned by Chinese company Geely since 2010 (and that's who designed, and is building, this car)
Folks are expecting to get the $7500 credit by leasing this, which ignores all the sourcing and income limits.
Nobody knows for sure Volvo will actually offer leases, or if they'll actually pass through the $7500 credit if they do offer them (some car makers don't pass through at all.... some do but change the other terms to jack up the cost to offset it, some pass it straight through)

- dependence on slow charging, but on the flip side everyone here is raving about how long charging times forces them to take potty breaks

None of that is true for leases though.
Leases ignore the sourcing limitations. Period.
So you would consider Volvo an american car? The first american plant is less than 10 years old. They are a swedish car owned by an american company. Would you have called Land Rover an american car or a british car back when Ford owned it?

Also since when did a pre-order for full price quantify as a front page deal. This shouldn't be posted (as there is NO deal) let alone FP.
