Polestar and Volvo could step away from traditional gas car design language. For this car you have a pointless for function long hood. You suffer inside because of that misplaced priority with the unnecessary limitation of back seat legroom and less wheelbase. An MG4 is the car to compare for current design of an ev. Good rear legroom. It's got a 2705mm wheelbase vs. 2650mm for this Volvo. 2 inches right there. 4287mm length vs. 4233mm for the EX30. The difference shows in the back door dimension.

But really.. who cares.
Well, I guess that's it. Many will follow and NACS will indeed be the standard as it claims to be.
Shame Model 3 is a sedan not a hatchback. Hatchback is much more practical.

Based in Hangzhou, which is located in southeast China's Zhejiang Province, the Zhejiang Geely Holding Group launched their automotive business in 1997. They took control of the Swedish-made Volvo brand in 2010. So, the Zhejiang Geely Holding Group owns the brand, but who makes Volvo cars? Some drivers in the Laurel or Shepherd area may remember that for a brief period, Volvo was part of the Ford Motor Company, but currently, all Volvo vehicles are manufactured by the Geely Holding Group.
No thanks. Sorry but if I wanted a car from china, there are cheaper options. I don't!
BTW, are you using and iPhone or Android? Maybe a desktop or laptop? Guess where those come from.
But all BEVs qualify for a $7500 federal tax credit for the leasing company.... (leasing avoids all the restrictions on the purchase credit like battery sourcing and income limits)
In some cases the leasing company will pass some or all of that to the person signing the lease- in some they won't.
Don't get me wrong, I did like my Tesla a lot. There are things I miss bout it. I absolutely loved its implementation of the steering wheel controls on my Model S (not sur how it is on Model 3/y). I can adjust temp/fan speed/recent calls, media, etc. It's so nice to not have to use the touch screen for climate control even though most people think you need to on a Tesla. Trunk space is enormous for its category (more than my wife's suv). Tons of leg room n front and back. Seats are comfortable.
The reason why Tesla is lumped into the "luxury" category is purely based on its price, especially when they were surging from 2019 to 2022.
EQS is way overpriced for what it is, and I find the look boring. I got an iX for much cheaper than a Model X. 305 miles published range, and i am getting around 380 mixed driving. 360 camera, HUD, electrochromic roof, Carplay/Android Auto, augmented reality Navigation, handles and drives like a sports car, yet comfortable like a luxury sedan. More importantly, no phantom drain.
Your surprise to my not using the free supercharger for year tells me you live in a tree hugger state. For people who are not, it is very common, because there aren't that many around. I live in the central part of the 4th largest city in the country and there are like only 3 superchargers around me, none of them within 15 minutes of the heart of the city. i know of no Tesla owner that uses superchargers on a regular basis. Electricity is dirt cheap where I am at.
