Small but still designed to look like a gas car with too much high blocky hood length and almost no frunk utilization.
Polestar and Volvo could step away from traditional gas car design language. For this car you have a pointless for function long hood. You suffer inside because of that misplaced priority with the unnecessary limitation of back seat legroom and less wheelbase. An MG4 is the car to compare for current design of an ev. Good rear legroom. It's got a 2705mm wheelbase vs. 2650mm for this Volvo. 2 inches right there. 4287mm length vs. 4233mm for the EX30. The difference shows in the back door dimension.

Still not too late to cancel your Model 3 order if you FOMO'd into that. This Volvo is worth the wait and wipes the floor of Tesla for less money with much better quality.

Cool story bro. This car is not a Swedish design, it's a Volvo sticker on a existing Chinese car.
That is why I preorder it as a Chinese.

Dear America, stop calling hatchbacks SUVs. Thank you

Looks like nice car, wouldn't buy gen 1 car with zero reviews.
Volvo's own website calls it "Our smallest ever SUV."

Glad I'm leasing my current EV with how things are starting to heat up in the market. I love my Ioniq 5 (best car I've ever "owned") but seems like things could be pretty different with EVs in a few years.

How do you buy a car not going to a dealer? I am curious because buying a car rates right up there with my least favorite things to do in life.
The reference is that Tesla is not sold through traditional dealerships. There is no haggling.

It's actually MAGI--- which is not a line on the 1040 so harder to know-

https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-t.../L7kHckNS3

Go to "MAGI calculation" for how to compute it
That's good to know. Thank you! That actually puts me right below the limit. This opens up to either purchase or lease without concerning about income limit.

I've driven the Polestar dual motor and was an absolute blast. EX30 looks even more beautiful! You'll be hyped once you drive these EV cars.

275-mile range wouldn't get us from most Points A to Point B!

It does have Apple CarPlay. Google maps is integrated into the main screen already so you'll rarely need Apple CarPlay unless you use Waze or Apple Maps.
Good to know its there, I couldnt find any mention of it. I use Carplay for more than just navigation though. messages, siri and music mainly.

I have no doubt this will be much better built than any Tesla, but this car looks way smaller than a Model 3 or Y. Looks to be at least a full size class lower than midsize.
That might be the funniest thing I've ever seen. You believe all the hype don't you? I've driven several Volvos, including the top of the line, and they are absolute trash to drive. I've owned three Tesla's, and have spent exactly $38 on maintenance, not including tires, after a combined 168,000 miles. Windshield wipers and windshield wiper fluid's only. What a stupid troll comment. You actually probably believe it. Pretty funny if you asked me. Are the top-of-the-line Volvo S 80 or whatever it was, drove that mistake for a week in Vegas, and the touchscreen was so terrible. We had to click it several times just to move past the screen. Absolute garbage. Picking up my fourth Tesla today at 5 PM in Tampa, you can meet me there and I'll show you how bad the car is. 0 to 60 in 3.1 seconds, self driving, and after the rebate, it's only $44,000. Would crush anything Volvo tries to put on the streets. Lol

I'm picking up my fourth Tesla today and it's going to take about 15 minutes total. $44,000 for a performance model three after the rebate in February that I will get, 3.1 seconds 0 to 60 and absolutely flawless. 20 inch wheels with Dig break package amazing vehicle. I've owned a model S and a model three and a model X. All of the last 10 years. Spent under $100 total on maintenance after 168,000 combined miles not including tires. Never even touch the brakes on my 90,000 mile model three. 80% left on brakes at 90k miles

So 26.5kw per 100 mile. 1kw here in cali is 34-37 cents now. So $9 for 100 miles. Give a take same efficiency as prius… range sucks too. I wanted to like it but ..
Goddamn! I am paying 19 cents a kWh in Anaheim

if you have an EV, at least in Nor Cal PGE has a EV charge rate where we can charge EVs for way lower than norm rate between midnight to 3PM. Also have ability to charge for very low rates at work and occasionally get free charge at malls/shopping areas. On top of it EVs have very low maintenance cost especially if you use 1 pedal driving. So there are tons of reasons to own an EV. It does not matter if its a volvo, tesla or a GM.
