Small but still designed to look like a gas car with too much high blocky hood length and almost no frunk utilization.
Polestar and Volvo could step away from traditional gas car design language. For this car you have a pointless for function long hood. You suffer inside because of that misplaced priority with the unnecessary limitation of back seat legroom and less wheelbase. An MG4 is the car to compare for current design of an ev. Good rear legroom. It's got a 2705mm wheelbase vs. 2650mm for this Volvo. 2 inches right there. 4287mm length vs. 4233mm for the EX30. The difference shows in the back door dimension.

Still not too late to cancel your Model 3 order if you FOMO'd into that. This Volvo is worth the wait and wipes the floor of Tesla for less money with much better quality.

Think you may be mixing up tax deductions and credits.
This is a tax credit, and if your tax liability is at least 7500 for the year then you will receive the full 7500. If it were a deduction, rather then the credit, then yes it would be much lower than 7500.

I wound not say wipes the floor... does it qualify for fed credit? Defaults features for base model? The post is wrong - 35k base model won't be 3 seconds 0-60... so many mistakes. It's like tesla main page model 3 40k 3.1 secs to 0-60... not true right? Get the facts before writing "wiping floors" statements please

Ouch... here in NC, I'm paying like 10 cents per kWh, so the savings over gas for me, especially at 3.50/gal like it is now, is substantial.

Most of my driving is also local, so I'm getting the lower end of MPG in my cars.

Combining the electric supply charge and the transmission services charge, the ComEd Price to Compare effective June 1, 2023 is 6.809 cents per kWh in Illinois.

Battery Technology is substandard beware on lowest offerings from Volvo. It's fast off the line but you heard of the rabbit and the turtle race right? The Chinese owns the company now.

So the overall quality of all teslas is not great just bc the post-delivery installation of a towing package was missing electric, and you had to wait 30 whole minutes? Yeesh…

As this new electric Volvo will be made in China, the answer is there will likely be no ev tax credit if you buy this vehicle.
