Polestar and Volvo could step away from traditional gas car design language. For this car you have a pointless for function long hood. You suffer inside because of that misplaced priority with the unnecessary limitation of back seat legroom and less wheelbase. An MG4 is the car to compare for current design of an ev. Good rear legroom. It's got a 2705mm wheelbase vs. 2650mm for this Volvo. 2 inches right there. 4287mm length vs. 4233mm for the EX30. The difference shows in the back door dimension.

It's based on a percentage of the materials in the battery being produced in the US or countries with a free trade agreement with the US. Among those countries are Chile and Australia. CATL makes the M3 battery in question and Tesla has just certified that the materials used meet the percentage requirement by being from Chile and Australia. Lithium is one of those. Now the standard range Model 3 with the CATL battery qualifies for the full $7500 tax credit.

This year base trim of model 3 qualifies only for 50% of the tax credit. Guess why?

Oh, there are none. Don't expect much from any of these companies - all products are Alpha except Tesla's which have moved to Beta.

Model 3 is now a utility vehicle. Seems like they got the battery issues fixed and they will go 300K+ without much issue. Style? You can't have style when every 5th car is the same. You can wrap the hell out of it, but it is still an M3. Which is almost the same as an MY.
