An additional driver that is side firing (small performance upgrade).

I attached a picture for comparison. Top is Q990B rears and Bottom is 9500s. They look more similar in person as that was just the lighting. Physically, the 990B rears have some tapering of flat sides and a raised look to them.

I don't have them in the same room, I just haven't moved the Q800B and 9500s yet after unboxing.

Is your Q990B mounted under your tv? If so, which mount did you use?

I already bought a mount rated for 15 lbs because I was certain I was getting the Q800C just waiting on the best deal. That soundbar is only 11 lbs. The Q900C is 17 lbs and I'm having a difficult time finding one that is Dolby Atmos friendly. I may have to ask Samsung for help.

Does anyone know if the SW-9500S is compatible and if the BestBuy order trick still works to bring the price down, I think it was $150 if you asked a clerk to manually order it based on item #?

Yes it's still working. Did it this morning. It rings up at $121. They are shipping it to my house tomorrow
