In my experience it's a pretty big pain to move money back out of a WF account since they limit the amount you can transfer every 30 days. Combine that with WF's reputation and this just isn't worth anywhere near the hassle and risk it requires.

Wow they limit your transfers. Insane.

Yes, it looks like we have to go to the local branches. There were no anywhere to input the code online.

I signed up for this promo a couple weeks ago, and it has been a PITA transferring money to meet the 25k threshold. The limits are absurd. I'm sure there's a way to get around it, but its not very apparent.

Push your money from your source bank, rather than pulling from WF.

When you have to get it out, reverse the process: pull from your other institution rather than pushing from WF.

Approx 8%, yet I would never recommend opening an account with Wells Fargo. Not only because of their past, but you will never get them to stop marketing products and services they are relentless.
Actually, it could be closer to about 12.3%. You open the account with a minimum of $25 (not $25,000). Then you have to deposit $25,000 by the 30th day. Then you get the $525 once the account has been opened for 90 days. So technically, you could keep the $25,000 in there for only 62 days.

525/25,000 = 0.021 (2.1%)
0.021/62*365 = 0.12363 or 12.36%.

Would this offer combine with the Wells Fargo $2500 checking offer?

This one is a savings account and the other is a checking, so hopefully it does? Has anyone done both?

In Beanie Babies? What stable investment do you see today that is much above 4.5% or so you get from a regular savings account today?

What are limits? I don't see any of the mentioned on their website.
~$30 to push to WF, and then ~$30 to push back

For anyone considering, keep in mind this is NEW money. If you recently took advantage of the $325 checking offer, moving money from that account (or any Wells Fargo account) will not count. There's also no reason to compare interest rates, if you keep the money in for the minimum required time this beats any interest rate offered by anyone. An extra $525 in the other accounts that could get you 5% afterwards is just even more money for you. Not sure how opening a bank account is too much of a hassle for anyone, it takes minutes to set this up.
Thanks, Love the free money deals. I recently had the 325 deal. I was wondering if I could do this. I seen this a week ago. I may give it whirl.
