Yeah the battery life sucks but this is an excellent deal. Right up there with the 13 mini deal in terms of value.

VZW unlock requires you to activate phone on the post pay account for at last one day. Then that starts a timer so at approx 60 days the phone will automatically unlock.

Needs to be on at least Wi-Fi to do so
Needs to be paid off
Can't be in collections
Does not necessarily need to be on VZW plan anymore

I did a nearly identical deal with the iPhone SE 2020 on Verizon and I never even activated the phone on my account. Gave it to my girlfriend and she activated on t-mobile. There was a bit of annoyance where it wouldn't let me pay off the bill all at once and instead added $15 or something a month until it was paid off but other than that there wasn't an issue.

For the $2.75/mo payment, is there a credit check? I have my credit frozen with all agencies.
