back looks really short - a dog laying down in one picture was higher than the back on this thing. every other color has a list press under $700, this one claims over $1500. Based on appearances, this 'sale' price is pretty close to actual list price.

Edited: left a zero off the $1500

Who, Slickdeals? The truth is this wasn't manipulation, Wayfair has THAT bad of inventory controls. I've no joke had 10 furniture orders cancelled in the last year from Wayfair and they take several days to cancel. Worst inventory management in retail.

No not slickdeals, i was talking about wayfair . Definitely bad inventory records is major contributor here
