I have had a wheel on trainer which run cheaper than this, but you have to frequently calibrate, adjust the wheel's contact on the roller, make sure the tires are properly inflated, get a new tire if you don't want to use the one on your bike..just typing these out exhausts me lol. Would not recommend one unless you don't have a choice financially
