I've made my peace with marketing things as "tactical" - at least this is legitmately (and sensibly) multi-function. But making it completely black in furtherance of that tactical moniker is just plain stupid. If you need to find this thing quickly in your car, you want something like hi-viz yellow, not flat black that's going to blend right in in your car's footwell or at the bottom of a storage cubby.

The real world need for this arises after a car crash, perhaps at night, when seconds could count. Not during some sort of stealth night-op fantasy. Product description says it was designed by a NYC paramedic. Here's what a real EMT rescue tool looks like:

The sad thing is the manufacturer isn't wrong - targeted for the consumer market, they'll sell way more of these things because it's black than if it were any other color.

Not familiar with this particular item but the site is 100% legit. I've bought a couple folding knives and a bolt action pen from SG and all fine. They often have sales, so many products can be purchased for around half their current listed price.

I have it and paid a bit more. Nice blade, seatbelt cutter, window punch, grip is phenomenal. Good tool for your person or glovebox especially for $22.

I've had this tool for several years. Fortunately, I have not come across emergency situations where it's been needed. But it's a solid build, and I have no doubt it will work as needed. My only grip about it is that after years of sitting in my car, the plastic coating is starting to dissolve and peel. It now has a tacky/sticky feeling to it. For this price, I'll probably pickup a new one.

I bought a few of these last time they were on sale. Overall good for the price. Not easy to quickly deploy with one hand and not that sharp, pretty heavy knife too. Glass breaker punch is well built and it's a sturdy knife.

If you have Costco, try this, two for $18 [costco.com]. It doesn't have a blade, though the flashlight is quite good (for the price).

I bought one of these a few years ago.
Knife is sharp AF.
Spring loaded glass breaker
Very solid and effective.
I haven't had to use it in an emergency thankfully but I've tested in out.
It comes in useful for the straight-edge knife

Can this tool ( particularly knife size) allowed to be carried by civilians in restricted states?
