Their bag of crunchy cookies may actually be the best dairy free/egg free cookie I have ever tried. Too bad they are so calorie dense. I'm not really a fan of their other products which I find ok and edible but not delicious.

So any fruit is a candy bar, right?

Anyone have good recommendations on protein bars that have Whey protein isolate as the main ingredient?

protein value is too small for the calories, this is more of snack not for gym crowd.
It's all relative. Much better than a Clif "protein" bar.

These are kind of better than the cookies (which are TERRIBLE macros and dont even taste that good).

Cookie = 420 calories, 16g protein, 25g sugar (19g added)
Bar = 160 cal, 12g protein, 6g sugar (3g added)

75% the protein with 38% the calories, 24% the sugar, 16% added sugar.

That said, i've tried 2 of the flavors. Peanut butter chocolate chip is great, everything I expect it to be, nice crunch and dont really taste the protein. Honestly taste better than any of the cookies.

The dark chocolate almond sea salt is VILE. All i taste is chocolate flavored peas, no crunch and little added flavor, just a gooey form of protein powder.

I recently had the cookies n cream bar. It was fine. As a vegan, I find Lenny & Larry's to be very good.

If these are anything like thier cookies, I would only eat them when you are outdoors or other well ventilated areas.

I'd hate to live on your diet if you think 6 grams of sugar, 12 grams of protein, and 160 calories is a candy bar.
Way to entirely miss the point of what the other person was saying....

I bought some Lenny's cookies a while back which were the single worst protein food I have ever consumed. This is including some of the rock hard chalk protein bars from the late 90s. Between terrible texture, a bitter anise off flavor, and not great macros there wasn't a redeeming quality about these. I did hand them out at work and enjoyed everyone's reaction and creative descriptions. It was incredible to everybody that these had passed both a design phase and QC. I am assuming there was something wrong with the batch.

Still. I am in for a pack of these. If nothing else just for the novelty.
I bought a pack and I like these quite a bit. In for a few more.

There are very few protein bars or drinks that I can tolerate due to texture and flavor, but I ordered these (Chocolate Almond) from this deal and thought they really did taste similar to a brownie; albeit not a homemade one. In fact, I just ordered another box.
