I've had these for over a year. Some of the best 2.1 PC speakers I've ever used. Only con is they are powered on at all times unless you unplug them.

It's been widely reported the quality/QC of the more recent batches is a bit lacking compared to those made 10+ years ago

There is the non thx version that I've seen complaints about. Probably some complaining on Slickdeals don't know they have the cheaper version since they look nearly the same. Don't think I've ever seen the THX one at $60 so this is a great deal

Got my first set in 2005 and the amp finally went in 2020. Likely because the sub fit into my desks cabinet so it didn't get good airflow. Ordered another of the same to replace it. Now I think I want another set just to have stereo subs.

If your TV has a headphone out jack, you would plug these into there. You would not plug these directly into your PS5.

I mean, you could try, but you wouldn't end up with sound.

I bought one last year. the left speaker stopped working. Not having much confidence with this system, whether I should buy this as a replacement.

I don't think I've ever seen these for $60. This seems like a crazy good deal.

Did you troubleshoot this at all? The left is the passive speaker, right? I feel like that would be super easy to figure out. (Unless it's the crossover in the sub or something that's causing it.)

I have tried several of these over the last few years. The always on burns 10-15W which is a real waste and they also suffer from light, but very noticable 60hz hum. I might try again and see if the hum has been resolved.
