I agree. My OLED65C7 had burn-in in 2020. They sent a tech to my home to evaluate it. They processed it and on the same day gave me a digital gift card with the original value I paid for the tv.. over $3000 at the time. I asked what do I do with the tv and if I had to bring the tv to a Best Buy. They told me to keep it or recycle it. Worth it in my opinion!

It does support chroma 4:4:4 if that's what you were referring to. That impacts how sharp text looks.

I wouldn't recommend that as the primary thing, as an equal or secondary thing to gaming/content consumption it's workable. You can fiddle with MacType and get it good enough but it's never going to be as good as a standard sub-pixel arrangement and then some apps just don't respect those settings. Trade off is worth it for me though since I'm in the equal sort of use case. Probably going to want to be making changes to how you work within Windows too if you want to be proactive about burn-in risk reduction or YOLO it.

Update: based on the reviews on Amazon, this monitor could be great for "gaming", but the text is not as sharp/clear as LCD monitor. So, wouldn't recommend it for productivity.

If you have BB with Open box near you there is a unspoken not-so-secret policy to let managers haggle on price. I got the manager to lower the price of a 42 to 600 but the edges of the bizel and back were badly scratched/chipped. He wouldnt go lower. Either way thought i let you guys know if a trip to BB is convenient.
