The same Churchhill that starved two million people in Bangladesh, known as Bengal famine. During the time he was asked about his decision, he said "they shouldn't have bread like animals". Watch this below documentary on this evil scumbag:

Hitler was responsible for the death of 6 million Jews. Churchill was responsible for the death of 3 million Bengalis. So I guess you can say that he was half as bad as Hitler. farking scum...

Without General Eisenhower this guy would be a nobody. The British sure love to ignore how much America saved Europe.

As far as I understood, the previous chancellor was ready to cave. Churchill put new fight into the English.

When you purchase the Kindle version on Amazon, you have the opportunity to pick up the audible version of the book for only $12.99. normal price $24.99. So you can get both the ebook and the audible version for a great price. Might make a nice Father's Day present as well for the father who enjoys history in general or World War II in particular.

"Chancellor"? What in the world are you talking about?

Revisionist historians sometimes belittle the greatest men of all time in an attempt to elevate themselves. That is clearly true with the historians of Slickdeals.

Churchill is one of the greatest and most interesting people of modern history. Example:
Winston Churchill was a war correspondent for the London Morning Post during the Boer War in South Africa in 1899. Shortly before his 25th birthday, he was captured by the Boers on 15 November 1899, when the armored train he was travelling on was ambushed and derailed. He was imprisoned in a POW camp and escaped on the night of 12/13 December by climbing over a wall, riding a freight train, hiding in a coal mine and eventually boarding a train to Portuguese East Africa.

An alternative read, which is not currently on sale but which I got free from the library, might be Churchill's Shadow by Geoffrey Wheatcroft. Wheatcroft debunks some of the lionizations in this volume, but in my opinion he doesn't quite go far enough.
