Yeah, the last 559s I got were terrible, plasticky feeling thinner fabric that didn't lay flat after just one wash. Nothing like the original silver tabs

Description says "Sits at your waist ", but that's wrong as far as I know. All 559s are "Sits below your waist".

I would call these more 'loose fit'. I have a pair and rarely wear them. 90's style loose fit. Feels like way more than 2% synthetic fiber, they don't breath well and feel like wearing a trash bag.

Last time it was on sale at this price I got it and it didn't feel great

Thick but cheap feeling, zipper is difficult to move n just not a great pair overall

I'm convinced these jeans deals are all kickbacks from Amazon to the site. It's always staff posting probably to help Amazon get rid of these since no one would buy them normally.

This color is also deeply discounted in the 569 style (my preference). Perhaps they are discontinuing it.

Loose fit is normal fit for muscular men like myself. If I tried skinny jeans, i would tear them up like when the hulk gets angry.
