Completely agree. I actually bought the 7 tool a month ago, saw the 8 tool sale the same night and bought it and returned the 7 tool. I love it
Pros used tools without motors at all for way more years
but I see it not FUEL line of tools

What advantages does brushless have over the other model type?
In my opinion the difference is not enough for the cost. Unless maybe you are a contractor. I still have corded tools that work great. Although not as convenient. I bet most people on here have never had to change a set of brushes.
Tools have been one of the "mine is bigger" items forever and will continue forever. The person who has a garage full of over priced snap-on tools has the bragging rights over the Harbor Freight guy who may be the better mechanic. Not downing anyone's choice of tools or saying one is not better than the other but none of them have any skills. Some just sound like they do. IE. Skill- Craftman. Lol Most just have operater issues. Lol
