Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank Techmoji

For anyone with bigger hands (can palm or almost palm a basketball) you may find the larger MX Vertical to be more comfortable.

Key differences are:

- larger size
- integrated battery with usbC charging
- dpi button on top instead of on scroll wheel
- no receiver storing
- slightly lighter
- more distinct clicks (which I preferred)
- more expensive

The main thing that sucks with both is that you use Logitech options and control dpi through percentages and it doesn't scale linearly.

You are allowed 200 - 4000 dpi and I found that setting it to 43% gets you roughly 800dpi.

Having used both, I agree 100%. Vertical can still be used by someone with smaller hands, but Lift is more comfortable for people with small or small to medium sized hands.

Lift lacks a horizontal scroll by tilting the scroll wheel. I just used an AutoHotkey script that accomplished the same thing by using the shift + the scroll wheel.

Deal is for white only. Note that the white will stain over time from the oils in your hands and cause brown spots that cannot be cleaned.

I second this. Been using this white mouse for a year (since last June) and it has turned distinctly brown at the areas where my palm rests. For that alone I wish I got the darker variant

I was never confident in the the hand position for this mouse. The pictures do suggest a fairly neutral position. My daily driver is a Zalman FG1000 but I no longer have a spare for my office, so this should allow me to easily move between home and office with ease. CCC suggest the price is a reasonable discount, and I'm tired of using the Dell freebie mouse at my office.

Good luck!

Did you end up painting it? How did it go?
