Really curious on how the entire shipment of balls ended up being scuffed from making contact with each other, cardboard and the inside of a mailing bag? I'm assuming from your displeasure that these scuff marks had a direct impact on ball flight, speed of the ball at impact and spin rate.

20 percent off works when you create a new account only. I placed 2 different orders using 2 different emails and phone number. I tried it with my very first account that I created years ago. And the 20 percent off didn't apply.

I take it back. Existing account does work. Not sure why it didn't show up earlier. But it does now.

Not sure if academy sports still does this, but I jumped on a promo last year for Srixon golf balls. The boxes of balls were packed in a soft mailer cause the boxes to break and was stuck with just a giant bag of balls that were scuffed from transit.

This also works on other models. At least it did for me. The Q Stars were $55.98 for 3 doz. Also, they're doing military and first responder discount right now.

I bought 6 dz on this deal last year and received brand new balls in retail packaging. One box had a small dent but no effect on the product.
