Lenovo sent out a mass email acknowledging the mistake and issuing refunds - FYI.
Watch out, I purchased this laptop and they charged my CC and extra $70 for 1-year of support that I never agreed to. I had to argue over this charge with 3 CS reps and never got the charge refunded. I returned it out of disgust.
Yeah, it's a shame this new gen is so much better, but then they took away the 500nits display from the default QHD 16inch screen. I purchased this laptop and returned it - Brightness was lacking for sure. I purchased a "Build your own" with the 500nits and 32GB of RAM for $1505 with 5% off student discount. On top of that, I used one of those deal sites and got 12% cashback.. The only bummer is it was delayed 5 weeks.. I bought it on May 22nd, and it won't be here till June 30th..

Now as for their support, I've had decent success talking with them on several purchases and returns. I have also delt with Dell support, and it was a lot harder to get any response and real person. Lenovo chat support was pretty helpful.

Missing Graphic card in Specs, it's in the title though.

The Lenovo for sure. QHD screen* and newer tech.

*Sadly, it's only a 300nits screen instead of the classic 500nits one, but still a good deal compared to what's out there.

Yep dealing directly with Lenovo is an awful experience.

Abysmal customer service, it's enough to never buy one ever again, I don't think people can echo this sentiment enough.

Does their gaming line (Legion) have any of the same QC issues (eg the notorious screen hinge issues) that their other lines do?

I don't think that issue was even there since their introductio of revamped design since 2020. I am using one since 2021.

NOpe, When i bought mine people specificaly said that wasn't and issue. I've had mine for 8 months with no problems whatsoever. I love it because you can lift the screen open with one finger too without the thing tipping over.

I've never had this problem and I've ordered directly from Lenovo many times. When you check out, there is always a total payment amount shown. They can't charge you an extra $70 without you clicking the buy button. Some vendors definitely add options like extra warranty or extra accessories to a purchase and it is on the consumer to check the final payment amount before clicking the "Buy" button. They can't charge you $1500 + 70 unless you click BUY on $1570.

Not true - Lenovo sent out a mass email apologizing for the error and issuing immediate refunds.
