Whey Protein Powder | MuscleTech Phase8 Protein Powder | Whey & Casein Protein Powder Blend | Slow Release 8-Hour Protein Shakes | Muscle Builder for Men & Women | Chocolate, 4.6 lbs (50 Servings) https://a.co/d/1JvnCL3

Beats Front-Page deal… 8-Hour protein based on the casein in it and TWO scoops. Taste is great very similar to ON Whey's. I use it to stay satiated as my morning meal.

1. It is 4.6 pounds, NOT 5#
2. 50 servings for 4.6 # with 26g protein per serving
3. Misleading info all over the product page referring to one or two scoops. 1 scoop is 26g protein, with 50 servings per 4.6 #

You're welcome… I don't get paid to post deals. And 4.6 rounds to 5lbs it's not that big of a deal.
At 61% protein per serving, it really isnt.

Actually its 2 scoops for 26g, thus the lousy 61.9% protein per serving.

One scoop is 42g total mass with 26g protein. 50 scoops at 42g each is 2.1 kilos, and the bag is 2.09kg. 2.09kg is 4.6 lbs. Two scoops for 26g doesn't work to reach the size of the bag or the number of servings.

About 2.4 cents per gram of protein
Price of protein was about 1.4 cents a gram in the 2010s

I purchased this in the past because it advertised itself as 8-hour protein. What I failed to notice is that for the 8-hour sustained release the instructions say you need two scoops meaning you only get 25 servings in each bag. If you are looking for sustained/casein protein then I advise you keep looking.

You realize that's a ridiculous interpretation, right? It's "delayed release" because casein is digested more slowly than whey isolate (and, for that matter, concentrate and the other types included). Whether it's one scoop or two does not change release timing.

I've bought this previously and like it. Good texture and taste; I blend it with some other types of chocolate protein, depending on my purpose. My only gripe is that it has soy lecithin in it. It isn't a ton, but I do all I can to avoid soy. I typically try to stick with sunflower lecithin, if any.
