This is a remake of a Swedish movie called "A man called Ove", much better than the remake imo

Movie was good until they inserted, awkward, modern politics. Newspaper boy did not fit with the storyline.

Enough credit at Amazon and discounted GC at MS, but...

It's on Netflix in 4k!

Don't recommend this movie. It's depressing.

A movie about a guy who will leave his best friend over changing his car brand, but fully supports someone changing their 'gender'. 🙄

Yup. And not real life. Seeing how he was there's a zero percent chance he would have instantly liked the paperboy rather he knew his wife or not. Kind of a pointless movie really.

So movies have to reflect reality for you to enjoy them?

One could say that none of the block busters ever do

The commercials showed all the best parts. This movie went downhill fast.

Call it growth. Call it wisdom. Call it mellowing with age. Call it realizing in your last days what truly matters. Call it whatever you want, but try it someday. Sorry to hear you only focused on three whole minutes of the movie and missed everything else entirely.

Watched it on Netflix and I thought it was a great movie. I'm not sure why a small aspect of the movie is triggering transphobic comments. I guess that's low-hanging fruit for the hateful.

He hated the kid...right up until he got to actually know him. Imagine having an opinion on someone based upon who they are rather than what they are. (Or aren't.) Zero percent chance you can imagine that?
