It's National Taco Day!! There has to be a deal somewhere but I'm not seeing anything other than Taco Bell. The Taco Bell by me has a poorly designed drive-thru and it's too easy to mess up your car if you're not careful. I avoid it for that reason. The next closest one is way too far away.

I was looking over munchkin's list of CVS deals. It's a great list and I really appreciate the ideas but RA has everything that I would get at CVS beat. Dove body wash is a much better deal at RA. Huge mm. Eucerin, Aquaphor, Nivea, and Shea lotions are free at RA so I'm not doing Vaseline at CVS. I need more Axe like a hole in the head. Nivea bodywash is free at RA even with their crazy $10.49 price on the women's. Dove shampoo was a mm last week at RA so I'm stocked up on that. The only cosmetics deal that I ever do at CVS is CG and that's probably over, too. No interest at all in Big Hair. Colgate was a bust.

It's today. The Taco Bell deal started yesterday and ends today. $10 gets you a taco every day for a month. Tums is having a special to go along with the Taco Bell special. My advice is to do both deals. You'll be sorry if you just do Taco Bell...

I may get a taco and watch another horror movie. Last night it was the shave lotion bats and the night before it was the bride eating orchids. I wonder what tonight will be...

Let's see, what else have I seen recently...talking crabs, the fishman who lives in a cave, and a giant bird that eats airplanes. I did see a really good movie (I think it was actually an Outer Limits episode) about a new president that has to deal with an alien invasion. It stars Robert Forester and is well worth your time.

I understand this because my CVS actually has the worst drive though lane of all time. I'm sure people have smashed up their cars there.

There's an auto body shop right down the street from Taco Bell so at least you don't have to drive very far to get your car fixed.

When we first got Penny, our current little furball of love, she had developed a lump on her hind leg in between visiting her and making the adoption official a week later. I didnt want to fall in love only to find out she was pretty sick so I was a little reserved at first. She still hasnt forgiven me and is the first of our pets to prefer my husband, and not just by a little. She knows she can depend on me, when she needs something or is scared she runs to me first but DH is her Joy. When he comes back from anything its dancing and excitement. Sometimes she will lift her head for me. And, it didnt even work anyway. By the time we had a vet appointment I was head over heels in love with her. LOL

So, good luck staying detached.

We are doing Pooh, Blood and Honey this weekend. My expectations are beyond low but my husband (and by extension Penny) is excited.

I took another look at the title of that YT video thinking that maybe I missed something but no, it's total clickbait. People will say anything to get hits. YT has gone so far downhill since they started paying people for their posts. I just want to listen to free music but I have to sit through 4 commercials for every song. Is there a better place to go?

Really good sale and I'm not even done with it yet. The best news is that I found a new home for the Boost. I fully intended to drink it all but realized that I never will and it will just expire if I don't so something. I'm soaking wet. It's over 100 outside.

Interesting how some gas stations are still really high ($6.19 to $6.59) but some them have dropped down to $5.99 to $5.69. Not that $5.69 is a deal. I think that gas was around $5 a mointh ago but I could be wrong on that. It seems like I have to put $20 in every day but I'm not going anywhere. I've cut way back on my driving but I'm paying much more every week for gas. That makes no sense...

CVS probably thinks that I'm back in the hospital. I haven't been to my favorite store in 3 weeks. I can't afford it. A round trip costs me around $20 in gas and with no deals at CVS these days it hardly makes sense. I have some local CVS's that I can go to but why would I? Give me a deal or two and I'll gladly come back. I couldn't even buy a tube of toothpaste this week without having it screw up. No thanks...

Anybody have any ideas for Wags on Saturday? I have $16 RR's that expire on the 11th. I had two 7/25 boosters but they expired on the 3rd. I should pay more attention to Wags. It's a shame to waste the boosters since I don't get them very often. I may just skip Saturday and use the RR's on soda pop. I don't want to spend very much oop and I already have enough W Cash and don't need to boost it.

My weekend is going to be busy. I had an unexpected sale to a friend yesterday and I came pretty closer to getting heat stroke. It was 100 outside but it seemed a lot hotter. I have to go shopping today to buy back the stuff I sold and then I have a big sale tomorrow morning. I have way too much stuff here and I have to get rid of it. I bruised my elbow and cut up my knee walking into stuff this morning. It has to go!

After the sale on Saturday, I'm going to rest a little bit and then go out again for more shopping. Sunday looks like a full day of shopping and then maybe I can have a nice dinner. I've got a project on Monday that will probably take up the whole day. The only down time I have is now until my coupons come.

Btw, Jacks has the new coupons for next week. Almay, Revlon, and Maybelline.

Sharing something I just posted in the Walgreens thread, for those of you who don't visit that very often.

There's a great deal posted in this thread, good through Saturday.

Basically, if you get your flu, covid or other 'qualifying' vaccine via an appointment on their website, you'll get a cat for $20 WG wys $1 for each shot. I don't know if there's any confirmation on walk in appointments getting the cat or not, as I got us appointments. Must, of course, be a member of MyWalgreens.

I highly recommend buying the cheapest thing you can find when you walk in the door. You might get lucky and get a booster.
