I think they've always called themselves Nomatic, but their original wallet [kickstarter.com] was called the BASICS Wallet.

I had the basic and then the nomadic, I can't imagine using anything else. I'm periodically tempted by ridge but the. I think "why?" This thing is basically perfect for me.

Yes. In fact I store it in the slide out side with my top 3 cards.
Mistakenly gave my check card to the officer that pulled me over last time because I store them together.

I like mine. It's perfect for my use. I have two cards and my driver's license; saves a ton of annoyance not having to carry cash. The elastic loosens a bit after a while, and there's a tag you need to remove on the inside or stuff will get stuck. My cards still look fine, but who cares if the corners get scuffed a bit? They're just easily replaceable pieces of plastic.

Have 7 bills quad folded into the small pocket and 15 card in the two compartments.

Not sure why you got thumbed down, I have this wallet and I like it but it trashes my credit cards. I've replaced at least three so far because the numbers have rubbed off in the wallet. Most of my credit cards are moving towards printed numbers now as well instead of pressed numbers so when it rubs off you can't read the card at all.

Great wallet at a great price. I usually put a tile mate pro inside the "cash" pocket, which adds a tiny bit to the bulk, but is cheaper than the non-replaceable battery credit card one. In for one. Dope deal.

Came here just to say that i use that pocket to store an AirTag. Never slips out, so if you have one this will make for a great DIY find my wallet lol. I've had two of these so far and love them.

I like to put my wallet in the back pocket but these minimalist wallets don't have any cushion unlike traditional wallets so they are more uncomfortable
