I want to say these are ~$27 each in store right now (but might be wrong). The umbrella was also on sale. Still a good deal for these. We did a beach chair review comparing various deals last summer and these were our highest voted chairs.

I want to say these are ~$27 each in store right now (but might be wrong). The umbrella was also on sale. Still a good deal for these. We did a beach chair review comparing various deals last summer and these were our highest voted chairs.

Anyone own these and can speak to the comfort? I saw a used one in Goodwill and it was really uncomfortable. Not sure if that was representative, though. Felt very stiff.

These are literally title "Folding Backpack" implying that it folds into backpack form. There are no pictures of it folded on Costco's website.

They are comfortable. Only negative I would say is that the back rest could be higher. I'm 6'4 and the little neck pillow was nowhere near my neck.

They've made them cheaper for sure over the recent years, plastic arms (instead of wood), changed cup holder config, changes out the chrome metal they used to use, definitely stretching margins, all that said I bought 2 of these the other week and they are still nice and very comfortable and definitely a good value, the umbrella, not so much

Yesm, they're cheaper plastic arms + cheaper materials, but I bought these 4 years agho and they're still lookiogn brand new. Still abetter deal than any nother $30 or even $50 chair out there.

When we fly to beach vacations, literally the only downside to not driving 15+ hours is that we won't have access to these outstanding chairs. And we've only had them for ~2 years, so I'm guessing I have the cheaper one. But I love the zipper pockets on the arm rests and in the back for storing things, the cup holder, the comfort, and thoughtful features like arm straps to easily carry them to that perfect beach spot. No other chairs compare — these really spoil you! Amazing deal at this price!
