FYI The only approved power supply for this is sold separately for over $30 (or you can just run on batteries every time if that's your preference.)

6.5V is a weird voltage. I'll stick with my honeytone for now

Love the honeytone. Those are the real deals. Battery or plugged in.

Otherwise I use the fender mustang micro and my older DigiTech BP/RP100 food pedals.

I bought the sugar skull version a few weeks ago. Loved it so much I bought a second one with the extension speaker. Both clean and dirty sounds are awesome.

$10 on ebay. I got the power supply 3 years back and it is still good.

No, but at TV listening volume, this thing (clean channel) cranked up get a natural distortion of the speaker that I think sounds better than my tube amps at that volume.

Other than higher end modeling, I don't think anything sounds better at those quiet volumes.

I've had the regular black version of this amp for years. As a bass player who sometimes plays guitar, it's been more than suitable for my needs. Has great tone for what it is and the headphone feature is nice for quiet jamming. Pretty cool that you can connect a cab to make a little stack that sits on your desk.

Sweetwater just put a couple of the neon colors and a surf green one on sale for the same price:

Does the guitar version also work for bass? Or should I get the separate bass model instead?

Make sure that the one you order has Bluetooth as well. Those on sale at Sweetwater don't have Bluetooth.

I ordered this deal yesterday. It was a tossup between this one or the Sugar Skull version. This one has Bluetooth, so it won. Thanks, OP. Very slick.
