You get what you pay for. The Dollar Tree measurement indicator wears off easily with use, the kitchenaid indicators do not wear off.

I challenge you to show me ANY measuring spoons from the Dollar Tree that are as well made as the Kitchenaid. I have used both types, and the kitchenaid measuring spoons are by far better. As a matter of fact, here is a pic of my dollar tree spoons after two months. Like I said, you get what you pay for.

Ick, I know. That's another reason to buy the kitchenaid spoons,and $4 is a good deal for them. When I noticed the peeling on the Dollar Tree ones, I only used them for making hummingbird water after that.

Can confirm, just bought the 9 piece set in this color that comes with the cups and spoons at Marshalls. The price was $6.99 but the measuring cups by themselves were also there for $3.99.
