If you open a new account with StaplesConnect, it won't let you link your existing Staples Rewards (from your Staples account). Just create a new one.

You can stereo pair them yes. However, each time I have tried that after a few days one of them will stop responding or will randomly cut out during music playback which was stupidly annoying. I've got 5x spread across the house as individual speakers which are pretty good for listening to Apple Music, using with HomeKit and as intercoms. Oh it's also pretty cool they each now act as thermometer/hygrometer sensors in HomeKit too!

I'm not seeing the offer, has it expired?

Edit: I was dumb and went strait to the official Staples app. The instructions lead to a different app called StaplesConnect. That's why I wasn't seeing it.
