Or having a separate jack for audio out and mic. Combo ports are an annoyance that should only be on thin and light laptops, not 7lb 17" bricks.

Can replicate price. I get 1700+

Edit: I get 1249 with the Nvidia 3060 option. The 6850m xt raises to 2100+

Performance on the 6850m is at a mobile 3080 level isn't it? Would be a good deal at $1225 as a desktop replacement driving an external monitor.
