While the machine isn't awful, this price for the AV2501S which lacks Clean Edge (the air jets on the sides) isn't super great. A "30 day capacity" self emptying base means you're emptying it every week or more if you've got more than just one dog.

If you are looking to save money by going with the unit without mopping, I'd recommend at least getting a "60 day capacity" self emptying base so you don't have to empty it as often.
