I received this last week…it's a nice little computer. Very small and compact, solid build quality, with a great screen. Battery life is obviously not like a mac but it's still pretty good and I have no complaints…it charges quickly and the charging brick is tiny.
Contemplating returning mine for something with a discrete GPU for my future needs (picking up the ryzen version with the 3050 today to compare), but if I didn't need that I would almost certainly keep it.

I was thinking the same thing or get an AMD that contains RDNA graphics.

If you dont mind waiting, the new 7040 series AMD cpu laptops are being put up for sale recently, not all are out yet. I heard price to performance is great as well as overall power consumption.

Hi, let us know how they compare, I'm thinking about both as well. Thx.
The refurb deal with the 12700H and 32gb ram seemed like a better deal if you get a good unit. 16" though. I tried the 14" 7 pro with the 3050 and it ran hot so returning it.

I looked into gen 4 Thinkpad 4s AMD but it's not available yet. Maybe 7xxx series CPU will be available next summer when 8xxx will be announced. I see Lenovo still selling 10th gen intel and amd models.

They have some up but only for like 1 or 2 lines, their website filtering is pretty bad so you have to google the model of cpu.
I know of their LOQ line having the 7840hs and Legion pro 5 having one

Try buying from from Newegg. They are smaller sellers and still provide premium CS. Others are giant monsters already rich. Support the little ones whenever possible
Newegg isn't small wtf..they're a huge company that's been around long af

You can change the variations and some have the 7745hx, etc.
