Would this be good enough to remove my lug nuts ?
Yes.. even if you're driving a Full-on Tractor Trailer you could remove lug nuts with this. This thing puts out about 9-10 times what you need to remove even the most stubborn of lug nuts on a typical passenger vehicle.

If you're literally just using it for that purpose and intend to do it quite often, this tool will wear you out due to its heft. These heavy duty impact guns powered by modern batteries can also beat you up quite a bit in real heavy load situations.. but something like lug nuts this thing can do in its sleep.

This is good enough to remove pretty much anything other than maybe the dreaded honda crank bolt or semi truck parts.

This has been out for less than a year, so you probably have a 899, which is still a monster imho.
Thank you

Online yep. Paid $216 shipped + tax. Chatted showed them the price. Their process is place order and then let rep know order # and they will adjust price. Just make sure to get approval first, some reps may try to check if they ship to your location and then may not honor it, other reps don't care. They can't do the PM for in store pickup, so you have to have it shipped, or you can try local PM in store, but they probably have to have a B&M store nearby to your location for that to work.
Thanks. I got one through home depot. Saved the shipping fee with store pick up.

Just got the Bosch from Lowes or this would be tempting. Nice price for extreme nut busting
Same. I got the Bosch with 2 batteries. Hard to beat.

Did your store have them in stock? Because the rep said that they do accounting separately from the store. So If I do in store pickup, then I have to price match with the store, as the online people can't do that. Maybe if the online depot is sending the inventory to the store for pickup and they are not pulling it from the shelf you can get away without paying the shipping fee.

This thing zips off Honda crankshaft bolts like butter. Just did it 3 weeks ago. Less than 3 seconds (used a weighted socket but probably didn't need to).

Thoughts on comparison to Ridgid 1/2 high torque version with charger, 4ah max battery, bag, and spare 4ah (non max) battery for $249 (free shipping)?

I was tempted by the DeWalt 899 with 4ah and charger at around the same price, made in USA, but the Ridgid is smaller, lighter, and more powerful, and lifetime service including batteries.

This DeWalt deal is a little more enticing. I need this for automotive DIY work, like suspension bolts and bearing press that my pneumatic 1/2" impact struggles with or flat out can't do.

The battery and charger alone are worth more than $130

The dewalt is the best as this retails for 349+ tax

I bought it just to have the extra battery since i have all dewalt tools mostly now. I have used Ridgid tools and they do not compare to dewalt tools
built alot better IMO
