For clarity's sake, there is a Delta 2 Extra Battery model they sell that's 1024 Wh (LFP, just like the D2 itself). One of the images in this listing for options shows both the D2 and Max extra batteries. But... they're pricy enough that you might as well just buy two of the main D2 units. That way, if one unit fails, you have a backup.
I've had a D2 unit for.. I guess a good 6+ months now. I've used it a few times and it's served me well for several power outages (considering capacity limitations for its size/weight). It's done well with solar charging too, having received a decent number of charges off of a large 455W solar panel, in addition to a few off EF's 160W folding panel that mine came with.
Very cool, albeit pricy "'Toy' but not a toy" that can save your bacon in a pinch. In the winter, this thing should be able to power most central air blowers for gas furnaces to keep you from freezing.. and supplement with a small generator when needed (transfer switch/seek electrician). You can set charging rates from 200-1200W to "play well" when charging off a smaller generator.

the D2 main unit is $849 on ebay from ecoflow
so you are paying roughly half price on the secondary max extra battery.
something to keep in mind is that the main D2 unit uses its battery first then it starts using the secondary battery next.

after researching it has a couple of cons: large external power supply brick, no power saving (all outlets energized even if not used, and display is always on which drain the battery.

You only get 5 year warranty on the Delta 2 but the Delta Max Extra Battery only comes with 3 year warranty (2 years + 1 more year if registered).

I can't economically justify getting one yet, but I'm getting close. I suppose the main use would be for power outages, which frankly and blessedly don't happen often, though with triple digits suddenly here in South Texas, I might need to run a window AC or a fridge should the grid fail.
I suppose I could solar charge it most days and use it to supplement my EV. At my current EV efficiency, a 2kWh-ish battery could cover close to half my daily commute. For the $1699 E2000lfp solar kit ($1699), I figure 3500 cycles at 80% works out to about $0.32/kWh, which isn't bad, but current power rates here after all the fees are around 12-14 cents/kWh, so any "saving money" arguments won't fly with the spouse. Something like this would be easier for me to justify in, say, SoCal.
Of course, could the 400V, 2-panel kit even completely charge it most days? I dunno.
I'm not buying yet, but I'll save a bookmark!

already have the interlock system for gas generator in place.
from the user guide, it seems the Delta 2 doesn't have the appropriate AC output sockets, like the Delta pro.
however, the echoflow website sell the Delta Max along with transfer switch. what confuse me is the the Delta Max has the same output layout like the delta 2.
