Cheapest Way to Purchase New iPhones (with or without service)

I have read through so many threads with iPhones. What is the cheapest overall way to buy an iPhone, and have unlimited service?
Currently have grandfathered tmobile One Plus 55+ plans, each line is $30/mo unlimited incl tax.
Currently pay full retail price for iPhones every 5 years or so
Is there a cheaper way to do this?

As others mentioned, Xfinity mobile or Cox mobile appears to be a good deal for an outright purchase (if you have cable/internet connections with these two, check out their mobile offer). For device financing purchases, Costco with TMo or Verizon or AT&T appears pretty good depending on where you are coming from and if you are willing to embrace a new carrier. Direct TMo or AT&T or Verizon appears good as well (as long as you are ok with the monthly credit) but I'm not inclined to lock myself to a carrier for monthly credit. There are similar deals out there for older versions of iPhones as well.
