Can you modify this machine to accept the milk module from the LatteGo Series 2200?

Very happy with our 3200 which we got for about $550 last year. No issues at all from daily use, on average 3 drinks a day. This 800 probably uses the exact same brew unit and seems like a decent deal.

Obviously, this machine is in a different class than the Breville Barista Touch, but is anyone able to explain to a coffee/espresso layman what features/benefits I would specifically lose out on going with this Philips for 1/3rd of the price?

Just ordered one last night. Does anyone know a good storage drawer for this one?

Finally pulled the trigger. It's tough to pass up with this price + Costco return policy. If this is good enough I'll sell my semi-auto setup and easily pay for this. Win win!

Anyone who ordered in the last few days get a shipping notification yet?

I'm on my second machine. First one lasted about a year until it stopped working a week after the warranty expired. Second one starting to behave weird around a year or so of usage. $320 is a good price tho.
A breville barista express should last upwards of 5 years. We had several in the office and they just ran, even with getting abused and not cleaned. I would say at least 20 double shots per machine were pulled daily. A shame they used to be in the 400usd range.

Mine got delivered today. Design is very basic and build quality is decent. I made a handful of coffees with it and the results were awesome. The frother is fantastic and my brim espresso maker frother was a total joke compared to this! I feel like the machine would not last more than 2 or 3 years based on what I read on the manual ( and a little kinda my gut feelings lol). So far so good and best 330 bux I ever spent.

According to random sources online, the older Delongi Magnifica super autos lasted 15+ years with zero maintenance (other than decalcifying) in an office setting pulling 10+ shots daily.

I was able to grab my used Magnifica for $100 used on CL but they normally go for $400-$700 used locally. Ebay also sells similar used models for $400-$700.

It is prudent that all super autos require regular maintenance by placing food grade grease around the piston o rings every so often. The experts on youtube say once a month but for most people, once or twice a year should be enough. This is so that the transmission which doesn't break when there's additional resistance from a dry rubber gasket rubbing along the piston walls. Imagine a car engine with no oil, the same thing happens in these machines.

Thanks for the feedback! How was dialing it in when you first got it, did the instructions walk you through it?

Very easy to figure out. From unboxing to the first cup of coffee took about 5 min.

If anyone is looking for high end models like 4400 or 5300 whatever, upon closer inspection with mine (800 series) , it seems the devices are completely identical in terms of brew grew and all the innards. Just add some bells and whistles and charge a couple hundred bucks more for it.
