Note: includes Resident Evil 4 download for PC ($59.99 value).

Another note: this GPU requires THREE 8/6+2 pin PCIE cables

Finally pulled the trigger, was waiting for a <$500 6800 xt but I'm happy with this. RE4 was the last push I needed, thanks!

Is this the lowest this card has ever gotten? (by this card I mean 6950xt)

I don't think the brand name would make that big of a difference in price right? if so does someone mind just briefly highlighting what are some things to watch out for between brands for the same GPU (eg. 6950 xt)

That would be an expensive upgrade for little performance boost, u less you can sell the 6800 for close to cost

I'm going purely by memory, but I think this card went to $580 once for a brief time. But other than that the consistent deal price has been $600-$620.

Once it reached about $600-$650 range, it has surprisingly maintained that price for a long time now. Prices seem to be holding for now. My guess is that this is around the lowest this card will go till the next gen is announced and this card is phased out (which should be soon). Of course there might be clearance sales to get rid of remaining inventory, but perhaps the non-clearance regular sale price has bottomed out at ~$600.

A lot of folks in these threads were saying to 'hold the line'. I believed them. But the lack of further drop in recent months makes me think those who bought when price hit ~$600-~$630 perhaps did the right thing.

For anyone interested in undervolting 6950XT try using 1100mV core clock min max of 2300 and 2400 is stable in most games. I get higher frames than at stock with lower temperatures (8-10C) and 30-50 watts

I'm running this with a Corsair SF750 and a Ryzen 7700X. I have it undervolted to 1100mv, with a min 2400, max 2500 clock. Turned the fans down to a max of 40% and it's smooth sailing.

There's the slightest of slight coil whine on mine during game play, but I only really hear it when I mute the game. And no, I don't play the volume loud. It's a pretty impressive card.

I've never seen a Powercolor that didn't have massive coil whine. Maybe I'm unlucky, maybe it's Powercolor.

Bought one of this back in days for 600$ and got a opened box instead of new, what Newegg is faimous for doing so. And of course card had issues, it gets crash in certain games. I never buy from Newegg again, not in the next years for sure.
